TERM 1 Week one Hi my names marie from learn to burn. and Im gonna tell ya's some stuff about myself and how Im finding the program and mabey some interesting tips too.! Im 22 my star sign is cancer, I grew up in adelaide ive done alot of stuff like raising my butifull 5 year old as a single mum, studyd a fair bit since i had him but my fav course was youth conservation course and this but one thing i still havent done and would really like to do would be to get a paid job. now Im gonna write how Im finding this course inweek one well I like all the people, and all the stuff, and my fav things are learning new things like the welding and woodwork and computing and just chillin out and having fun with all the other people in it and Im looking forward to every thing especially the landscaping.

anyways i thought I'd write a quick poem cause I like to write lots here go's.

SOMEDAYS! Somedays I wonder why the birds up in the trees so high sit and sing then take off and fly with there wings.

Somedays I wander why most people sin and win while others choose not to and lose.

Somedays I wander if its lifes worth that much or if i should even try when one day were all gonna die! and wish and pray that instead of hearin people lie and others cry, I could fly away , and ask god for abetter day where we could all be free and live in peace and harmony. ©2004 marie estella!

hello people' week 7 how r u all good i hope. im good exept for havin to much to drink last night but ive just made a resalution never to get drunk the night before tafe agian. know to tell u about what weve been doin laterly apart from goin into town and gettin drunk and havin to wear sunnies all day, well all tell ya first about what recreation weve been doin, goin back a couple off weeks we went to the maritime museum and on a old boat and got to take my son jordy and there was heaps off dolfins and it was interesting cause id never been before. next thing we did was this week had a barby what was yum i could do with one now. and last week the others went to viset urbrea agricuturall colledge but i didnt go cause jordy had a special assembly for book week where thay all got dressed as ther faviorite super heros heaps cute it was. i wish i could listen to some music right now i live for music and lots of other cool stuff. we'll get to the work stuff now what work we been doin lately is lots

week 1+3+4 Hi back online agian, actually startin to like computers, thought id done more than just week one so i guess i got a lot to catch up on so here go's, week 2+3 we basically were just gettin started in the workshops learning about safty and stuff and planning the back yard, so far weve decided to hav a water feature, vegie patch, fruit trees, kids play area, gazibo, a barbicue area and build a new pergola. We also went go carting what was fun cause i'd never been before. We also started making the chairs for the outdoor setting and did a little bit of practice welding. This week WEEK 4 we have been down to the site and got into trouble for throwing mud around and mukin around to much, dean said we got start taking it more seriously and stop actin like school kids, but apart from that we have got some work done. like weve almost finished one outdoor setting, and welded and put in some rialway sleepers 4 support of the vegie garden,and retaining wall. some people also did first aid on monday but i didnt have to because i already did it with YCC last year. and now i'm gonna leave today with one last positive saying to keep in mind, One of the most powerfull things we can do in life is to believe in ourself! and never stop believing in ourself, for all happiness comes from within ourselfs.!!!!!

this is me at our viset to the fire station friday week 6 all dressed up and ready to put out those pesty fires.

TERM 2 week 3 hi back agian thought Id betta write some stuff since I havent for about five weeks the end of last term was cool we didnt do much though but weve done a fair bit this term weve done the decking, the base for the rain water tanks and sortof put quarry rubble every where where were gonna put concrete and allthe tables are finished and so are the plans mostly. Im lookin for a couple night shifts cause Im pretty stuffed at the moment financially and a bit peved off with life generally but Im sure things will start looking up hopefully and the boys in my course might start actin a bit more human, there being real little shits lately but Im just trying to ignore them cause if let em get to me I think Im gonna end up knockin 1 out. and its really pissin me off how they keep sayin shit like Im not doin much when everytime try they just critisize me or say that I cant do anyway enough about that. Im lookin forward to the landscaping, and I put my hand up to MC at the end of year group showcase "shit" i betta start planning some stuff for that. cyas gotta go shoppin and clean my house a bit and mabey go out 2nite.

this is the best time of year to start planting natives because by summer the roots will be established and will not need watering.

it is also a good time to weed and prepare garden beds,

and start planting sunflower seeds, and bulbs.

sunflower seeds u can buy cheaply from the supermarket in the bird food section. And great time to start planting summer vegies yum!!!
